Both invasive species, the yellow fever mosquito and the Asian tiger mosquito, are on the state's list for the City of Los Angeles. The state doesn't break the city down further, but West Nile reports do: the Greater LA district has reported detections in 44 of the city's 110 neighborhoods this year.
